Päivö Eerola

Päivö Eerola has a significant amount of experience in the payment and fintech industry. Päivö is currently the CEO of Pax2Pay, a role they took on in June 2021. In August 2021, they became the Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board at Etuisa Oy, where they launched a new service. Prior to these roles, they worked as a Trusted Advisor and Payment Professional at PIN,JO since August 2015. Päivö also served as a Board Member at Westpay AB from May 2016 to April 2021 and at Payfunc from August 2019 to November 2020. Earlier in their career, they were the CEO of Nets Finland Oy from July 2009 to February 2013 and held the position of Head of Nordic Sales at Nets Merchant Solutions from April 2011 to August 2012. Päivö has also been involved in various other leadership and partnership roles throughout their career, including Managing Director and Partner at Manison Maksujärjestelmät Oy/Sagem Manison Oy from January 1999 to June 2009, and COO at Thales-Manison e-transactions in 2004. Päivö was a Partner at OmniPopUp oy from May 2014 to May 2016, where they worked on innovative retail concepts.

Päivö Eerola obtained an MSc degree in Economics from the University of Vaasa, where they studied from 1988 to 1994. Päivö also obtained a certification as a HHJ - Certified Board Member from the FINLAND CHAMBER OF COMMERCE kauppakamari in 2010.
