James Rossell

CVP of Facilities at Pax8

James solves problems and makes things happen. At Pax8 EMEA, he leads operations and supports international growth, incubating business functions by building for scale and operational independence.

He was the principal consultant behind the ‘modern workplace’ concept, working with leadership teams to help businesses develop a tech strategy and culture that empowers employees and drives growth.

By night, he helps save lives. Through his volunteer work as a leader in Surrey Search and Rescue (SAR), he supports Police and Fire & Rescue services in active operations, from missing persons to flood rescue to developing new search and rescue capabilities.

James, a father of two, has a degree in Computer Science from the University of the West of England. He spent his early career manning the university faculty helpdesk before working in rapid application development for BAE Systems. He built cutting-edge system prototypes for the Ministry of Defence. He co-founded the UK-based cloud consultancy firm, Wirehive, now part of Pax8, with Robert Belgrave and Simon Green. He also co-founded their spin-off company, 1310 (thirteen-ten), a venture born from the desire to provide reliable internet connectivity for businesses and consumers.
