Larry Sitka

Larry Sitka has extensive work experience in the field of healthcare technology and software engineering. Larry is currently serving as the EVP & CSIO Enterprise Imaging and AI at PaxeraHealth since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Canon Medical Informatics where they held the roles of VP/CSIO Enterprise Applications for both Canon Medical Informatics and Vital Images from April 2017 to March 2023.

Larry also has a long history with Acuo Technologies, LLC, where they founded the company in 1997 and served as the VNA Evangelist responsible for Enterprise Architecture and Sales. Larry provided vision and strategy, as well as architectural and site planning for larger IDN and DOD Solutions. Larry's tenure at Acuo Technologies lasted for 20 years until April 2017.

Before Acuo Technologies, Larry was involved in various startups. Larry was a Partner/Lead Software Engineer at Netshadow in 1997, contributing to the design, coding, and testing of the website. Larry also worked at Store-It-Online as the Lead Software Engineer/Owner, where they designed, coded, and tested a consumer-based internet website for offline storage and management.

In the early years of their career, Larry worked at 3M/Imation as a T5 Project Lead Software Engineer from 1990 to 1995, leading a team in the development of a Digital Asset Management/ECM system. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at NCR Comten/ATT, where they worked on software ports, network interconnect projects, and support subarea routing manager.

Larry Sitka earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a focus on Systems Programming from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Larry attended the university from 1981 to 1985. Later, they pursued a Masters of Science degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Computer Systems and Software Engineering from the National Technology University. Larry completed their master's program from 1990 to 1993.
