Alec Lovett

Alec Lovett has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Alec currently holds the position of Head of Product at Paxos, a role they started in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Podium as an Advisor and later as the VP Product and Head of Payments & Fintech from 2021 to 2022. At Podium, they led the embedded payments and fintech business, overseeing product development, sales, operations, and risk management.

Before joining Podium, Alec served as an Advisor & Investor for various startups in 2020. Alec also worked for Stripe for five years, starting in 2015, where they served as a Product Lead. In this role, they were responsible for developing Stripe's payout products and APIs, as well as the core money movement platform. Alec was also previously the Product Lead for Global at Stripe.

Prior to their time at Stripe, they had a brief stint at Square in 2014, working in a product role. Alec also worked at Wheelz, which was later acquired by Turo, as a Product & Operations professional from 2011 to 2013.

Alec's career began at Bain & Company, where they worked as a Consultant from 2008 to 2011. Alec also served as a Fellow at Kiva in 2008.

Alec Lovett attended Wake Forest University from 2004 to 2008. Later, they pursued further education at Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 2013 to 2015. The degree name and field of study for both educational experiences are not provided.
