Emily Shapiro is the Director of Culture at Pay Panther. Emily has over five years of experience in the communications and project management fields. Emily started their career as a Content Associate at S2 Brands. In this role, they were responsible for creating and managing content for the company's social media platforms. After two years at S2 Brands, Emily transitioned to American Express, where they spent three years as a Project Analyst II. In this role, they were responsible for defining communication governance and colleague engagement for the company's U.S. Consumer markets. Emily also collaborated with established communications specialists to ensure best practices were followed and to strategize effective improvements for project communication. In their most recent role as Director of Culture at Pay Panther, Emily is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's culture, including employee engagement, development, and retention.

Emily Shapiro attended the University of Virginia, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Emily'story. Emily also holds certifications from Scaling Intimacy School of Experience Design in Experience Design and from Scaled Agile, Inc. in SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager.
