Herco Souman

Herco Souman has a long and varied work experience. Herco began their career in 2002 as an intern at Deloitte Consulting in the Deloitte Innovation Zone. In 2005, they took on an internship at Univé Verzekeringen in their Accounting House. In 2007, they became an Internal Auditor and a Controller for Global Sourcing & Procurement at Nutreco, where they were responsible for developing a sourcing & procurement management information system, as well as being part of the Global ERP implementation team. From 2010 to 2013, they worked at GasTerra as a Business Transition Manager and Financial Controller, where they were responsible for aligning organizational processes with design, development and tests of a customized ERP system and Oracle Data Warehouse, as well as being part of the Corporate Social Responsibility Board. From 2013 to 2016, they worked at Cabot Corporation Ltd. as a Senior Customer Service and Logistics Manager and a Corporate Business Analyst, where they were responsible for increasing customer satisfaction by optimizing sales and logistics processes, as well as being part of the Commercial Excellence project. From 2016 to 2017, they worked at AbbVie as a Senior Financial Analyst. In 2020, they began working at JOT Zwolle B.V. as a Commissaris - Supervisory board member. Since 2017, they have been working at PAY. as Head of Internal Audit and Business Controller.

Herco Souman has an extensive education history. Herco began their studies in 2000, obtaining a Bc in Business Economics from Windesheim. From 2005 to 2006, they obtained a Bsc in Business Studies from the University of Groningen. Herco then continued their studies at the same university, obtaining an Msc in Organisational & Management Control from 2005 to 2007. In 2010 to 2012, they obtained an EMFC, RC from Nyenrode Business University. In January 2012, they obtained an EMFC / RC certification from the Vereniging van Register Controllers (VRC). Lastly, they are currently enrolled in the Executive Programme of Digital Auditing at the University of Amsterdam - Amsterdam Business School, which they began in 2022.
