Phillip Wong

Phillip Wong is an accomplished engineering manager and technical lead specializing in data and analytics at PayByPhone since July 2013. Leading a team of data engineers and a data analyst, Phillip focuses on enhancing data pipelines, integrating new data sources, and developing business intelligence platforms using Looker. Additionally, Phillip oversees a product development team dedicated to operational reporting and insights dashboard products for clients. Prior to this role, Phillip co-founded the company's data team, advanced PayByPhone's business intelligence frameworks, and held positions as a senior software engineer and software developer in various domains, including consulting and enterprise applications. Academic achievements include a Master of Science in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) and a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours in Mathematics and Computer Science, both from Victoria University of Wellington.
