Denise Dea

Denise Dea is an accomplished architecture professional with extensive experience in both practice and academia. Currently serving as Associate Principal and Director of Studio Operations at PAYETTE since March 2006, Denise has contributed significantly to the firm, which received the 2019 AIA Architecture Firm Award. Denise also held the position of Adjunct Professor at Wentworth Institute of Technology from September 2016 to June 2019 and served as Principal and Owner of Meander Studio from March 2012 to August 2017, focusing on aesthetic and functional design solutions. Prior roles include faculty member at Boston Architectural College and Business Manager at Gillham & Gander. Educational credentials include a Master of Design Studies from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southern California. Additionally, Denise founded Groundplane, a social networking site to support the Thesis Program in the Distance M.
