Thomas Simister

Thomas Simister is an experienced architectural professional with a strong focus on health science and STEM planning and design. Currently serving as the Director of Space Strategies at Payette since August 2018, Thomas previously contributed as a Senior Associate at Sasaki Associates from September 2011 to July 2023. Prior roles include positions at Shepley Bulfinch Richardson & Abbott as an Architect, and Anshen + Allen, where Thomas also worked as an Architect. Early career experience includes architectural roles at Rick Black Architect and Charles Rose Architects, the latter as a Project Architect. Additionally, Thomas was a Project Manager at Casali Group, Inc., and a Designer at Michael Willis Architects. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Architecture with Honors from The University of Texas at Austin and is currently pursuing Executive Education in Laboratory Design at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
