Zachary Lawson

Zachary Lawson has been working in the information security and compliance field since 2013. Zachary began their career as an Auditor for RubinBrown LLP in 2013 and then moved to BKD CPAs & Advisors as an Information Systems Auditor in 2014. In 2015, they joined Cerner Corporation as a Senior Regulatory Affairs & Compliance Strategist and then took on the role of Senior Regulatory Compliance Consultant, developing and facilitating SSAE 18, ISAE 3402 SOC 1, SOC 2 and SOC 3 attestation programs, and ISO 27001 program and audits. Most recently, in 2021, they joined PayIt as a Principal Information Security Engineer.

Zachary Lawson obtained a degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Park University from 2006 to 2012. Zachary has also obtained several certifications, including CISA from ISACA in January 2017, ITIL Foundations Certificate in IT Service Management from EXIN your ICT competence partner in September 2016, HighTrust CSF Assessor from HighTrust in March 2017, Certified Hipaa Professional from ecfirst in December 2016, and Security+ from CompTIA in September 2016.
