Christoph Karnetzky

Christoph Karnetzky has worked for a number of companies since 2009. Christoph began their career at EADS Astrium GmbH as a Software Developer for Metrological Applications and Tests. In 2011, they moved to the Institut des NanoSciences de Paris to work as a Manipulation of Nanosystems and Quantum Systems. From 2013 to 2018, they worked as a Research Physicist in Nanosystem Optoelectronics at the Walter Schottky Institute, Technical University of Munich. During this time, they also obtained their PMP® Certification from Project Management Institute (PMI®) & ptm-Akademie in 2018. In 2018, they worked as a Project Manager and Electrical Developer for Power Semiconductor Devices at Infineon Technologies. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at M47 Labs as a Natural Language Processing (NLP) Engineer and QA Automation Engineer. Most recently, they have been working as a Brain Modelling SW Design Manager at Neuroelectrics since 2021 and is currently a Senior Data Engineer at Payla since 2022. In 2017, they participated in the Science to Business program of the Boston Consulting Group.

Christoph Karnetzky obtained their Ph.D. Thesis in Physics from Technical University of Munich in 2018. Prior to that, they obtained their Diploma in Physics from the same university in 2012. From 2010 to 2011, they studied Material Science and Nanotechnology at Pierre and Marie Curie University. Christoph also studied Physics from 2007 to 2010 at Technical University of Munich. Additionally, they obtained a Machine Learning A-Z\u2122: Hands-On Python & R In Data Science certification from Udemy in 2020 and a Project Management Professional (PMP\u00ae) certification from Project Management Institute in 2018.
