Maleesha Perera

Maleesha Perera is a seasoned marketing professional currently serving as the Chief Marketing Officer at PayMedia since July 2020, previously holding the position of Manager Corporate Communications and Marketing. In this role, Maleesha acts as a key business partner for cross-functional teams, guiding them through change and transformation initiatives. Prior experience includes a role as Business Development Executive, where Maleesha focused on client engagement and new marketing initiatives. Maleesha also completed a marketing internship at BlueScope Lysaght Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, where responsibilities included market analysis, customer relationship management, and project coordination. The educational background comprises a Master of Science in Information Management from SLIIT, an Executive Master of Science in Digital Marketing from Asia e University, and a Bachelor of Business Management (Special) Degree in Marketing from the University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka, among other qualifications in digital marketing and banking.
