Bashar Saleh

Bashar Saleh has a long history of working in the technology industry. Bashar began their career in 2005 as an Analyst - Software Systems Engineering at Merrill Lynch. In 2006, they moved to BlackRock, Inc. where they served as an Associate - Portfolio Management and Risk Reporting. In 2010, they became Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at ReserveOut, a leading online restaurant reservation platform. In 2013, they joined iMENA Group as Managing Director - Loyalty and Marketing Automation. Most recently, in 2017, they became the Chief Executive Officer at paymennt.com, a mobile first payments platform.

Bashar Saleh began their education in 1997 at The Jubilee Institute. From 1999-2001, they attended UWC Red Cross Nordic and obtained an International Baccalaureate Diploma. In 2001, they enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania, where they obtained a Bachelor's of Engineering in Computer and Telecomm Engineering in 2005. In 2008, they returned to the University of Pennsylvania and obtained a Masters of Engineering in Telecommunications in 2009.
