Ioannis Maragkopoulos

Ioannis Maragkopoulos is a seasoned Software Engineer with extensive experience in the fintech sector, currently employed at PaymentComponents since July 2016, where a strategic role has been undertaken in various projects, including a Payment Gateway and an API gateway compliant with PSD2, as well as libraries for parsing and validating financial messages such as SEPA and ISO20022. Prior experience includes a position as a Java Developer at the IT Support Centre of the Hellenic Army from November 2017 to August 2018 and an Assistant System Administrator role at Athens University of Economics and Business in 2013. Ioannis holds a Master's degree in Management Science & Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Informatics, both from Athens University of Economics and Business.
