Fred Gumbel

Mr. Gumbel’s experience while at Citicorp included Private Label Credit Cards with National Retailers through Regional Retailers and Small Single Store Operations, spanning Issuing, Risk Management, Marketing, Acquiring, Service and Portfolio Factoring. Additional experiences at Citicorp included Executive Roles at Diner’s Club and Citicorp Retail Services managing Risk, Operations, Technology and Service.

Mr. Gumbel was a Group Head at First Bank System (Now US Bank) where the Presidents of the Consumer Credit Card, Commercial Credit Card, Bankcard Acquiring and Agent Bank Businesses reported to him.

Mr. Gumbel was the President of EDS’s Electronic Commerce Strategic Business Unit where the Card Processing Business Head, the Switch and ATM Business Head, the EDI Business Head and the Business Head of the Home Banking Product JV with US West and France Telecom reported to him.

Mr. Gumbel was the Founding Chairman, President and CEO of VITAL Processing Services a Joint Venture between VISA USA and Total System Services.

Mr. Gumbel is the founding Principal at Payment Insight and has been involved with each of the companies listed as Clients of Payment Insight. Mr. Gumbel acted as President and CEO of WAY Systems from October 2006 through December 2008 as WAY became the largest supplier of Mobile Transaction POS Terminals in the World.
