Tim Murphy brings extensive experience in risk management and operations across various high-profile organizations. Currently serving as VP and Head of Risk at PayNearMe since October 2021, Tim has previously held significant roles including Chief Operating Officer at PayCertify, and multiple leadership positions at PayPal and eBay, addressing global controls and enterprise risk management. Tim’s career began at Visa USA, where responsibilities included operations and risk management, after which Tim gained foundational experience at Arthur Andersen and Crowley Maritime. Educated at California State University, Fresno, with a B.S. in Business Administration and a Certificate from IBM Business School, Tim combines a strong academic background with over three decades of professional expertise in the financial services industry.
