Ivo Gueorguiev

Ivo Gueorguiev is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the banking and fintech sectors. As a co-founder of Paynetics since March 2017, Ivo has contributed to the establishment of a leading provider of Embedded Finance solutions and payment services across the EU and UK. Ivo also serves on the Board of Directors of Banca Transilvania, Romania's largest bank, and holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors at Salt Bank, the first fully digital bank in Romania. Additionally, Ivo is an early backer of Phos, a pioneer in software POS solutions. Previously, Ivo co-founded TBIF Financial Services B.V., led TBI Bank Bulgaria as Chairman of the Supervisory Board, and served as a Senior Banker at EBRD. Ivo holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Alberta and a Master’s degree in International Business from the University of National and World Economy.
