As Chief platform Officer , Assaf Lead’s Payoneer’s Technology , new businesses and growth businesses group. Prior to Payoneer , Assaf was the Chief Product officer for Sofi heading Engineering, Product & Design, and oversaw the Strategy and direction of SoFi’s suite of product offerings. Prior to SoFi, he founded and was Vice President of Amazon’s Alexa shopping group, creating a new market category in the burgeoning new world of voice assistants. Assaf had previously been a Vice President responsible for Amazon’s physical payments business. Prior to Amazon, he spent nearly seven years at Microsoft where most served as general manager of Skype after its acquisition, and as the general manager of identity, access, and security products.
