Beatriz Gimenez

Beatriz Gimenez is a seasoned professional currently serving as Senior Director and Country Manager of PayPal Iberia since April 2022, overseeing both consumers and merchants in the region and managing the Madrid office. In addition to her role at PayPal, Beatriz mentors entrepreneurs for Endeavor Spain and has experience as Regional Manager for Tink, where Beatriz played a pivotal role in establishing the company as a leader in open banking in Iberia. Beatriz has held various leadership positions in fintech companies, including board chair and member roles for multiple organizations, and served as EVP for BBVA's New Digital Businesses, where Beatriz influenced fintech strategic decisions and portfolio development. Beatriz holds an International MBA from IE and a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Politecnica de Valencia, complementing her expertise with educational experiences at Singularity University and Technische Universität Berlin.
