Brenden Lane

Brenden Lane is an experienced product leader currently serving as Senior Director of Developer Product at PayPal, overseeing merchant integrations and developer experiences since September 2024. Prior to this role, Brenden was Head of Product and Engineering at Reshop, where leadership extended to a team of 25 professionals from March to August 2024. Brenden also provided advisory services at Formalize from November 2023 to March 2024 and held the position of VP - Product Lead for Marketplace merchant products at Square from February 2022 to January 2024, following Block's acquisition of Afterpay. At Afterpay, Brenden was the Senior Director of Product Management for Merchants from February 2020 to February 2022, focusing on merchant-facing products. Brenden holds an MS in Management Science and Engineering and a BS in Mathematical and Computational Science, both from Stanford University.
