Carol Song

Carol Song is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. At PayPal, Carol served as Director of Engineering for Consumer Onboarding and Consumer Growth from August 2022 to May 2025, overseeing vital projects including Checkout Growth. Previously, at StubHub, Carol held the position of Head Of Engineering for Discover, Research, and C2C Customer Journeys, leading teams to enhance user experiences. Carol's earlier roles include Senior Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer at Shutterfly, as well as Technical Team Lead positions at Hands-on Mobile and Mobile Content Networks. Carol obtained a Women's Executive Leadership degree from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in 2020 and is a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at the National University of Singapore.
