Kim Inouye

Kim I. currently serves as Design Ops Leader and Chief of Staff for Global Product Design at PayPal, a role undertaken since 2022. Prior to this, Kim I. was the Head of Product Design Operations at Etsy from 2020 to December 2021, where foundational programming and infrastructure were established during a phase of significant growth. Experience also includes a position as Director of Product Marketing at Nordstrom Trunk Club in 2018, and Director of Product Management at FLOR from January 2015 to 2018, where a collaborative design system was created. Kim I. has further experience as a Program Manager in ecommerce at Grainger from 2012 to December 2014, focusing on design innovation, and as a Strategist and Manager at iProspect from 2007 to 2012. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Data Visualization & Information Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Illinois Chicago.
