Sandip Das is a Lead Data Scientist at PayPal, having started in June 2021 as a Senior Data Scientist focusing on Fraud Risk, Digital Identity, and Authentication. In this role, Sandip collaborates with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to design strategies that minimize fraud while ensuring a positive customer experience. Prior to PayPal, Sandip worked at American Express from 2018 to 2020, where they held roles in marketing analytics and credit risk strategy, contributing to various high-impact projects. Sandip holds an MBA from the Department of Management Studies at IIT Delhi and a BTech in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Durgapur.
