Ziyao Chen

Ziyao Chen is a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at PayPal, where they develop machine learning models for Anti-Money-Laundering and design AI systems to enhance operational efficiency. With over four years of experience as a Machine Learning Scientist, Ziyao has successfully built more than ten machine learning and AI solutions to address real-world business challenges. They previously held roles as a Data Analyst Intern at Nielsen and a Research Assistant at multiple institutions, applying their expertise in data analysis, natural language processing, and model development. Ziyao earned a Master's degree in Business Analytics from the University of California San Diego and holds dual Bachelor's degrees in International Finance and Finance from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law and the University of West Georgia, respectively.
