Justin Humphries has worked in various roles over the past 18 years. From 2001 to 2018, they worked as a Professional Baseball Player for the Houston Astros, Shreveport Sports, and Pensacola Pelicans. In 2010, they were a Project Coordinator for ISERP at Columbia University, where they worked directly with Columbia University Professor Sudhir Venkatesh on the "Athletes In Transition" project. In 2011, they took on the role of Director of Player Development for STAR eMBA, an invitation only program at The George Washington University School of Business. In 2012, they became a Partner at STAR Angel Network. In 2017, they became a Partner at Blue Check Media, LLC, and in 2018, they became the Chief Operating Officer at PayPossible Inc.

Justin Humphries received their BA in Political Science from Columbia University in 2010. Justin then went on to receive their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The George Washington University School of Business in 2013, with a focus in Business Administration and Management, General.
