We’re seeking senior backend engineers (multiple positions) with 6 to 10 years of experience (compensation will depend on experience; we’re seeking senior and mid-level engineers). The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, self-driven, comfortable working in small teams, be able to develop with high-level direction. This is an in-office position, five-days a week based in our San Jose, California office.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and implement scalable, event-driven backend services and microservices.
Develop high-performance solutions using Node.js and manage database interactions with PostgreSQL, CouchDB, and other NoSQL options.
Optimize performance and reliability within a high-throughput environment, utilizing SQS and SNS.
Actively drive architectural decisions, collaborating with cross-functional teams on system design and scalability.
Contribute to our evolving microservices infrastructure, leveraging Go for key components.
Design and develop robust RESTful APIs, ensuring secure and efficient communication between services.
