Tere Green

Tere Green has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. They began their career in 1998 as an Account Manager at Montana Wines and later worked as a State Manager at Liquorsource. In 2004, they became a Director at Evolve before transitioning to a Business Development Manager role at FlexiGroup Limited in 2006, where they developed a portfolio of merchants and navigated industry changes. In 2014, they joined Now Finance as a State Manager and led the company until 2017, when they became a National Sales Manager at Openpay. At Openpay, Tere focused on expanding market share and growing revenue within the Buy Now Pay Later industry. In 2017, they moved to Zip Co Limited, serving as the Head of Customer Success. Tere introduced the Customer Success discipline and managed strategic merchant partners during a period of rapid growth. Their most recent role was at Payright, where they started as the National Sales Manager - Retail in 2018 and eventually became the Chief Commercial Officer. At Payright, Tere developed and implemented growth strategies, achieving significant merchant and customer growth. They later served as the Chief Operating Officer before leaving in 2022. Tere's work experience demonstrates their ability to drive growth, manage strategic partnerships, and adapt to industry changes.

Tere Green attended South Otago High School from 1986 to 1991. Following this, from 1992 to 1996, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in History at the University of Otago.
