Kiril Muchev

Kiril Muchev is a seasoned professional in compliance and risk management with extensive experience in financial crime and national security. Currently serving as a Compliance Advisory in Product Risk Assessment at Paysafe since November 2023, Kiril previously held a role in the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria focusing on national security. Prior experience includes leading compliance and risk efforts at OpenPayd and various positions within Paysafe Group, such as Head of Financial Crime Intelligence and Compliance Manager. Kiril also has a background in legal assistance and student governance, having acted as Chairman of the Student Parliament. Educational qualifications include a Master of Economics specializing in Management of International Projects from the University of National and World Economy, and a Master’s Degree in Law from South-West University "Neofit Rilski".
