Vishnu Kunchur

Vishnu Kunchur is a Lead Data Scientist at Paysafe, specializing in Merchant Risk transformation and data science initiatives. With a strong background in data analytics, Vishnu has developed fraud detection models and innovative preprocessing algorithms, as well as led critical projects analyzing transaction declines in the nutraceuticals segment. Prior to Paysafe, Vishnu gained experience as a Data Science Intern at Universal Music Group, focusing on predicting track life for playlists. Vishnu also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Southern California, guiding students in Applied Business Statistics, and worked on geospatial data visualization projects for the City of Los Angeles. In earlier roles at Tata Steel, Vishnu managed analytics projects and operational processes, achieving notable production growth. Vishnu holds a Master's degree in Business Analytics from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela.
