Timur Shomansurov

Timur Shomansurov is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the fintech and business development sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer Americas and General Manager for Canada at Paysend since August 2019, Timur plays a key role in transforming global money transfer services. Added leadership positions include being a member of Fintechs Canada and advisor and head of programs at Holt Accelerator, where support for fintech startups is provided. Timur co-founded Pay Trade Inc. and PayNet Macedonia, focusing on international business development and modern payment services, respectively. Previous roles encompass senior consultancy at KPMG, co-founding TransAtlantCom LLC, and leading business development efforts for several investment firms. Education includes a Master's degree in Management from Harvard University, an Executive MBA from McGill HEC Montréal, and a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
