Stephan Obermeir

Stephan Obermeir has over 30 years of work experience in finance and accounting. Stephan started their career as a Tax Accountant/Auditor at Landestreuhand Weihenstephan GmbH and later moved to Sokon Business Software GmbH as the Head of Accounting and Personnel. Stephan then joined Unternehmensgruppe Gerhard Meier AG as the Head of Group Accounting. Stephan's career progressed when they became a Finance Manager at Avaya and later at Discovery Networks Germany. Their roles at Discovery included Manager of Commercial Controlling and Finance. Currently, Stephan holds the position of Director of Finance at epay, a Euronet Worldwide Company.

Stephan Obermeir completed their education in a chronological manner. From 1989 to 1992, they attended the Academy of Business and Administration Munich, where they obtained a diploma in Administration Management with a focus on Accounting, Controlling, and Business Administration. In 1994 to 1996, they pursued further education at the chamber of commerce and industry, obtaining a degree as a certified management accountant. Later, in 2012 to 2014, they enrolled at the University of Liverpool, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance & Accounting. Stephan then went on to receive a second Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Liverpool in Finance & Accounting after completing the program in June 2014.
