Gopi Thangam

Gopi Thangam has extensive work experience in the field of cyber security and networking. They currently hold the position of Lead Engineer - Cyber Security at PayU, where they started in April 2023. Before that, they served as a Senior Engineer - Cyber Security at PayU from October 2022 to April 2023. Prior to joining PayU, Gopi worked at Ola as a Security Engineer-II from April 2022 to October 2022 and as a Security Engineer-I from July 2021 to March 2022. They also gained experience at Vinca Cybertech Pvt. Ltd. as a Sr Technical Engineer from November 2019 to July 2021, and as a Technical Engineer from April 2019 to October 2019. Gopi's earlier roles include Networking Trainer and Business Development Associate at APOLLO COMPUTER EDUCATION LIMITED from February 2018 to February 2019, Network Trainer at Mazenet Solution Private Limited from June 2017 to January 2018, and Hardware and Networking Trainer at APOLLO COMPUTER EDUCATION LIMITED from January 2017 to May 2017. Their career began as a System Engineer at SBRM infotech from October 2015 to December 2016.

Gopi Thangam has a strong educational background in the field of Information Security. In 2021, Gopi Thangam enrolled at the University of Madras and is currently pursuing an MSc in Cyber Forensics and Information Security. Prior to that, Gopi Thangam completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science and Engineering from the University College of Engineering Kanchipuram, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Gopi Thangam's secondary education was at Adiyaman Higher Secondary School, where they completed their 12th grade in bio-maths from 2011 to 2013. Gopi Thangam has also obtained various certifications, including CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), PCNSE, and AZ-103 Azure Certified Administrator, among others.
