Michael Fehr

Michael Fehr has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Michael started their career at Archangel Fireworks Inc in 2001, where they held the position of Logistics Manager. In this role, they were responsible for managing the distribution of fireworks across the country and internationally, as well as handling shipping and receiving and managing accounts with shipping companies.

In 2011, Michael joined Mitchells and Butlers as a Chef, before moving on to Royal Mail later that year. At Royal Mail, they held various roles, including Autonomous Maintenance Pillar Lead & Automation Manager, and People Development Lead. In these positions, they developed talent and learning plans, upskilled managers and staff in Lean techniques and tools, provided root cause analysis for kaizen events and safety issues, led engagement campaigns with front line staff, and chaired industrial relations seminars with union leaders.

Most recently, Michael worked at Payworks Payroll Services Canada since 2013. Michael initially served as an IT Support Analyst and later transitioned to the role of Business Analyst in October 2020.

Michael Fehr attended The University of Winnipeg from 2004 to 2010, where they obtained a B.A. (Hons.) degree in Political Science. In 2014, they obtained a certification in Cryptography 1 from Stanford University. Additionally, they obtained an Advanced Certificate in Public Policy and Administration from the University of Winnipeg.
