Glenn Sherry

Glenn Sherry has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Glenn is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Payzone Ireland, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Finance at the same company from November 2017 to March 2023. Before joining Payzone Ireland, Glenn worked at Smurfit Kappa Corrugated Ireland, where they held various roles including Finance Manager from October 2013 to November 2017, Assistant Corporate Planner from June 2011 to October 2013, and Group Accountant from August 2006 to May 2011. Glenn began their career at Grant Thornton Ireland as an Auditor from October 2001 to December 2005.

Glenn Sherry has a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accountancy and Marketing from the University of Galway, which they obtained from 1995 to 1998. Glenn then pursued a Master of Business Studies degree in Marketing from Dublin City University, completing it from 1999 to 2000. Afterward, they attended Chartered Accountants Ireland and obtained the ACA qualification from 2001 to 2004. Glenn furthered their education at Chartered Accountants Ireland, completing a Diploma in Strategic Finance from 2015 to 2016, and a Diploma in Data Analytics & Strategy from 2022 to 2033.
