John Sakers

John Sakers is an experienced professional in health, safety, and environmental leadership, currently serving as the Health, Safety and Environmental Leader at PBF Energy since October 2020. Prior to this role, John held significant positions including Global Director of Permitting, Compliance and Quality at First Solar from May 2010 to October 2020, and Director of Global Permitting, Compliance and Quality at OptiSolar Technologies, Inc. from January 2008 to January 2010. John's career began at ExxonMobil, where John worked in management focusing on operations and regulatory aspects from 1989 to 2008. John Sakers holds an MBA in Economics and an MA in Psychology from Pepperdine University, and a Bachelor of Science from The University of Georgia.
