Nicki Betterbid has worked in the marketing and SEO industry since 2014. Her most recent position is Senior SEO Manager at PBJ Marketing, which they began in 2021. Prior to that, they were a Senior Account Manager at Marchex, where they managed all client communication for enterprise-level accounts, led client projects and initiatives, and provided data analytics for all accounts. From 2016 to 2021, Nicki was employed at Reunion Marketing, where they held the roles of Marketing Manager, Senior Marketing Consultant, and Marketing Consultant. As Marketing Manager, they managed digital strategy and relationships for 40+ clients, conceptualized and executed continued education for the marketing team, and worked with other departments to streamline communication, processes, and knowledge trainings. Before Reunion Marketing, Nicki was a Senior SEO Analyst & Team Lead and SEO Analyst at Hive Digital, Inc. As Senior SEO Analyst & Team Lead, they managed and oversaw a multi-million dollar account, managed clients' budgets and SEO strategies, and monitored clients' SEO strategies and trends. As SEO Analyst, they managed and monitored clients' SEO campaigns, executed link development strategies, and fulfilled monthly goals within specified timelines.

Nicki Betterbid holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, which they obtained between 2011 and 2013. Nicki also holds four certifications: Google Analytics Certified from PBJ Marketing, obtained in June 2022; Adwords - Search Advertising; Adwords Fundamentals; and Google Analytics.
