Bill Clark

Vice President, Science & Strategic Alliances at PBL Assay Science

Bill Clark has a diverse work experience in the field of science and medicine. Bill has held various roles in different companies, starting as a Chemist in Lehn & Fink Products Corp./Sterling Drug Inc. from 1983 to 1986. Bill then worked as a PRAT Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Mental Health from 1993 to 1995. Bill further pursued their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) from 1995 to 1998. Bill then transitioned to the role of Senior Staff Scientist at The National Institutes of Health from 1998 to 1999. In 2000, they joined PBL Therapeutics as the Section Head of Protein Biochemistry/Purification, and later became the Director of Drug Discovery & Development from 2002 to 2006. Bill then joined PBL Biomedical Laboratories/PBL InterferonSource as the Senior Scientific & Business Development Director from 2007 to 2008. Finally, they served as the Vice President of Science & Strategic Alliances at PBL Assay Science / PBL Biomedical Laboratories.

Bill Clark attended Bergen Catholic High School from 1975 to 1979, after which they enrolled at Boston College for their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, from 1979 to 1983. Bill then pursued further education at Yale University School of Medicine, obtaining a Master of Philosophy degree in Pharmacology from 1986 to 1989, followed by a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from 1989 to 1993.
