Kersten Nabielek

Kersten Nabielek is a seasoned researcher and urban planner with extensive experience in urban studies, sustainability, and urban developments. Currently serving as a researcher at PBL Planbureau voor de Leefomgeving since March 2003, Kersten has contributed significantly to research on urban fringes and sustainable practices. As a founding member of YEAN, a network of European architects and regional planners established in 2003, Kersten engages in innovative research methodologies to address spatial phenomena across various scales. Previously, Kersten worked as an architect at MVRDV and BUS architektur, and holds degrees from TU Wien, University of Michigan, and School of Architecture, Portsmouth.
