Lawrence W. (Larry) Schwartz is a seasoned CPA and MBA with extensive experience in tax and advisory services. As the Managing Member and Tax and Advisory Partner at Commonwealth Advisory, LLC since January 2013, Schwartz has contributed to a full-service regional CPA firm serving a diverse range of clients, including small to midmarket publicly and privately held companies as well as not-for-profits across the MidAtlantic region. Additionally, Schwartz holds a director position at First Virginia Community Bank since April 2007 and served as an Adjunct Professor at The George Washington University’s School of Business from January 1997 to December 2013. Schwartz's prior experience includes serving as a Tax and Advisory Partner at PBGH, LLP from August 2007 to December 2012. Schwartz earned an MBA in Business from The George Washington University School of Business and a BSBA in Accounting from the University of Florida.
