Karen Trachsel

Karen Trachsel has extensive work experience in the field of geology, specializing in environmental investigations and project management. Karen began their career at Ernest K. Lehmann & Associates in 1980 as a Geologist. Karen then worked as a Project Geologist at Riedel Environmental Services, Inc from 1984 to 1987. From 1988 to 1991, they served as an Environmental Scientist at Century West Engineering, Inc, where they conducted site investigations, monitored well installations, and oversaw soil and groundwater sampling projects. Karen then joined GeoDesign, Inc in 2004 as a Senior Field Geologist, responsible for environmental investigations and construction supervision. Karen worked there until 2011. In 2011, they joined Hahn and Associates as a Project Manager before transitioning to PBS Engineering + Environmental, where they currently serve as a Project Geologist.

Karen Trachsel attended Oregon State University from 1978 to 1980, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology.
