Michelle Merker is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in programming, production, and instruction. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Programming Partnerships & Distribution at PBS SoCal | KCET since 2009, Michelle has a robust background in producing and developing documentary and unscripted content for public television. Previous roles include positions at The Academy of Radio and TV Broadcasting as a private instructor and social media outreach promoter, as well as a news reporter for Clear Channel Radio and Total Traffic Los Angeles. Michelle has also taught TV and film courses at Saddleback College and held leadership roles at KDOC-TV and KOCE-TV. Educational credentials include a certificate in the History of Cinema from the University of Pennsylvania and an associate's degree in TV-Radio-Film from Saddleback College.
