Aydrea Walden

Aydrea Walden is a seasoned writer and production professional with extensive experience in children's entertainment and animation. Currently serving as Head Writer at PBS since March 2024, Aydrea previously held the position of Story Editor for Nickelodeon's iCarly from August 2022 to January 2023, and worked as a Story Editor for Nickelodeon Animation from August 2021 to August 2022. Aydrea contributed as a Writer for Disney Jr's Eureka from February 2020 to August 2021 and managed scripted content for DreamWorks tv at NBCUniversal Media, LLC from January 2019 to February 2020. Additional notable work includes writing for Pete the Cat at Surfer Jack Studios/Amazon Studios and creating the webseries BLACK GIRL IN A BIG DRESS. Aydrea's production roles at DreamWorks Animation spanned multiple functions, including Animation Production Supervisor on How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World. Holding a Bachelor of Journalism from The University of Texas at Austin, Aydrea has a diverse background across various media platforms, enhancing storytelling and production value in family-oriented content.
