Steve Szubinski has extensive work experience in the information technology consulting field. Steve served as the President of PCA Technology Group, a regional IT consulting firm, since 1989. In 2012, they became a Partner/Peer at Ingram Micro Mastermind Peer Group, where they collaborated with other IT business owners and leaders. Additionally, they have held leadership roles in various nonprofit organizations, including Board President of Amherst Senior Transportation Services since November 2020 and Board President/Member of Amherst Generations Foundation from 2005 to 2012.

Steve Szubinski's education history begins in 1982 when they enrolled at the University at Buffalo to study Accounting. Steve attended Erie Community College in 1983-1984 and obtained an Associate's Degree in Computer Science. From 1984 to 1986, they returned to the University at Buffalo and pursued studies in Computer Science. In 1992-1993, they participated in the University at Buffalo's Emerging Entrepreneur Program. In 2010, they completed the High-Tech Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership Program at the University at Buffalo. In 2008-2010, Steve attended the University at Buffalo School of Management, where they earned an Executive MBA (Master of Business Administration) degree. Additionally, in 2012, they participated in the Leadership Buffalo program, gaining class experience.
