Sonia Portwood has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Sonia has held various leadership roles in different companies and industries.

In 1985, Sonia started their career as a Branch Manager and Retail Lender at Deposit Guaranty National Bank, where they quickly rose through the ranks. Sonia was recognized for their leadership skills and was responsible for implementing innovative banking practices.

Sonia then joined Deposit Guaranty Investments in 1993 as a Vice President and Financial Advisor. Over the course of three years, they provided financial advice to clients and managed their investments.
