Kanako Koizumi is the owner of Kozmo Kitchen, where a passion for authentic Japanese home cooking drives the creation of memorable dining experiences. Since 2008, Kanako has served as an instructor at PCC Natural Markets, teaching traditional Japanese dishes to food enthusiasts in regularly sold-out classes across the Seattle area. Previous experience includes roles as a cooking instructor at Hot Stove Society and global project manager at Xtreme Consulting Group, Inc. for Microsoft, where responsibilities encompassed managing localization projects and content updates for Microsoft Dynamics. Additionally, Kanako spent over 16 years at Microsoft in various project management and engineering roles focused on localization and quality assurance for products like Microsoft Office. Kanako's career began as a film subtitle translator from 1988 to 1995. Kanako holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Language from Meiji Gakuin University.

Founded in Seattle in 1953, PCC Community Markets (PCC) is a certified organic retailer and the nation’s largest community-owned food market with an active membership of more than 100,000 members. The co-op’s mission is to ensure that good food nourishes the communities it serves, while cultivating vibrant, local, organic food systems. PCC operates 16 stores in the Puget Sound area, including the cities of Bellevue, Bothell, Burien, Edmonds, Issaquah, Kirkland, Redmond and Seattle. Seattle stores are in the neighborhoods of Ballard, Central District, Columbia City, Downtown, Fremont, Green Lake, View Ridge and West Seattle.
