Mahmoud Sultan

Mahmoud Sultan currently serves as a Board Member on the PCI Board of Advisors at the PCI Security Standards Council, where efforts are focused on enhancing payment security through robust data security standards. In addition, Mahmoud holds the position of Senior Director for Governance, Risk, & Compliance at Toast, Inc., a company dedicated to transforming the restaurant experience with innovative software and hardware solutions. Previous roles include Director of Information Technology Audit & Risk Management at Block, and various leadership positions at PwC, where responsibilities expanded to encompass complex projects for top strategic clients. Early career experience includes positions at Intel Corporation and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Mahmoud holds an MBA from San Jose State University and a BSBA in Management Information Systems from Central Michigan University, complemented by an auditing course at the University of California, Berkeley.
