Kris Hildebrand

President, Western Canadian Buildings & Civil Infrastructure at PCL Construction

In 2013 Kris assumed the role of president, Western Canadian Buildings and Civil Infrastructure, based in PCL’s North American Headquarters in Edmonton. He began his PCL career in 1995 in PCL Winnipeg as a project engineer, transferring then to PCL Ottawa in 2006 to become operations manager, to Regina in 2008 to become district manager of PCL Saskatchewan, and to Edmonton in 2013 to become regional vice-president. Extensive exposure to these varied markets has enabled Kris to acquire a wide breadth of experience in the commercial, institutional, civil, and industrial construction sectors, as well as in Special Projects and First Nations work. In 2014 he joined PCL’s board of directors. In addition being a Canadian Construction Association Gold Seal-certified project manager, Kris has a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from the University of Manitoba, and is a designated professional engineer. He is a director on the board of the Edmonton Economic Development Corporation, and coaches a local minor hockey team.
