Wesley Chandler Wood is an experienced professional in government and community relations, currently serving as the Director of External Affairs at PCs for People in Maryland since March 2021. In this role, Wesley leads the organization’s efforts to enhance access to technology for underserved populations. Previously, Wesley coordinated the campaign for Carl Stokes for Baltimore City Council President, managed business development at All Staffed Up, and worked as a Fundraising, Marketing & Events Consultant for the Black Mental Health Alliance for Education & Consultation. Wesley also held key communication roles, including Press Secretary for the City of Baltimore under Mayor Catherine Pugh and State Programs Administrator at the Maryland Department of Aging. Wesley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The Johns Hopkins University and has a certificate from the Robert W. Deutsch Foundation.
