Roy Merryweather is an experienced commercial professional with a strong background in business development and management within the ports and steel industries. Currently serving as Commercial Director - Bulks at PD Ports since September 2015, Roy has focused on developing supply chain solutions that enhance customer value while minimizing carbon emissions. Prior roles include Group Business Development Manager at Peel Ports Group, where responsibilities encompassed large account management and new business development, and positions at Tata Steel Europe and Corus with a focus on market trends and sales in the steel sector. Roy holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from Teesside University, obtained in 2002.
