Mr. Rogers is the Vice President & General Manager of the Operations Divisions of PD Systems. He joined PD Systems in March 2018, a mere two weeks after his retirement from a 30-year career in the United States Army as Deputy General Manager of the Training Logistics Services Division where Tom became a key leader of PD Systems efforts at the National Training Center.
Throughout his career as an Army Officer, Colonel Rogers served in a variety of leadership assignments and posts, including Deputy Commander, 82nd Sustainment Brigade; Commander 407th Brigade Support Battalion; United States Army Special Forces Command (ABN), Fort Bragg as the Assistant Chief of Staff, G4; United States Army Special Operations Component Command as Commander 528th Sustainment Brigade (Special Operations) (Airborne); NATO Special Operations Component Command/Special Operations Joint Task Force-Afghanistan as J4/Logistics Director; Assistant Commandant, U.S. Army Quartermaster School, Fort Lee, VA; and Commandant, Army Logistics University, Fort Lee, VA. As the 407th BSB Battalion Commander, his unit was the lead element for the 2007 Troop Surge in Iraq. Mr. Rogers served multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan for which he was awarded, among others, the Legion of Merit and the Bronze Star Medals.
Mr. Rogers is a native of Rome, Ga. He entered active duty as a Second Lieutenant in the Infantry after graduating from Greensboro College in 1988 as a Distinguished Military Graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education. He later earned a Master’s Degree in Management from the Florida Institute of Technology. Mr. Rogers currently serves as the President of the Fort Lee & Southern Virginia Chapter of the Association of the United States Army.
